Yukiru Sugisaki (杉崎 ゆきる) is a Japanese manga artist. She has created numerous manga in several demographics, but is perhaps best known for creating the seinen series 1001knights (2012) and the shōjo series D.N.Angel (1997).Most of her manga series have been translated to many languages: Chinese, English, Spanish, French, Italian, Germany, Thai, etc.
However she is also well know worldwide because of the numerous manga series she has started and she hasn't finished yet; I will tell you about Yukiru Sensei's interrupted manga series.
Until this day these are the Sugisaki sensei's manga series incomplete:
1. The candidate for Goddess or Megami Kohousei (女神候補生) [1997-2001]It was serialized in the monthly Wani Books magazine, Comic Gum (コミックガム) . A total of 26 chapters were collected in five tankōbon (volumes) and released between 1997 and 2001. All five volumes of the series were re-published in 2005 as part of the "Gum Comics Plus" imprint.
2. Lagoon Engine (ラグーンエンジン) [2002-2007]
It was serialized in the monthly KADOKAWA magazine, 月刊Asuka monthly. A total of 49 chapters were collected in seven volumes between 2002 and 2007.
And The series were re-published in 2013 as part of the "ASUKA Comics DX" (あすかコミックスDX) in 4 tankōbon.
3. Lagoon Engine Einsatz (ラグーンエンジン アインザッツ) [2004-2006]
It has appeared in Newtype USA since October 2004. In July 2005 an announcement was made that ADV Manga would be distributing the series as graphic novels starting November that year.
Then the complete Japanese version volume was published by KADOKAWA in Japan in 2006. One volume was released. It has a total of 10 chapters collected in one volume.
4. Ascribe to Heaven (アスクライブ・トゥ・ヘヴン) [2009-2011]
It was serialized in the monthly Shōnen Gahōsha (株式会社少年画報社) magazine, Young King OURs (ヤングキングアワーズ), but the last chapters were all collected in a special Booklet Series Resumes (アスクライブ・トゥ・ヘヴン小冊子に). A total of 13 chapters were collected in two volumes were published between 2009 and 2011.
It was serialized in the monthly Shōnen Gahōsha (株式会社少年画報社) magazine, Young King OURs (ヤングキングアワーズ), but the last chapters were all collected in a special Booklet Series Resumes (アスクライブ・トゥ・ヘヴン小冊子に). A total of 13 chapters were collected in two volumes were published between 2009 and 2011.
Even though Yukiru sensei has many manga series incomplete, It's sad that people only remember that from her. She also has many manga works completed and she is currently working in others too.
